   ISurTec® has intellectual property (I.P.) and coating compositions with proprietary (patent pending) classes of  new manufacturing-friendly latent-reactive bonding reagents available to offer its customers. With private and government funding, ISurTec® is developing the following useful innovative surface modification products:

• Nanotextured Superhydrophobic ("Lotus Leaf Effect") surface coating with superior stability for numerous applications in communications, energy, transportation, medical, and other markets.
• Hydrophilic coatings, especially lubricious (slippery) films for urinary catheters and other elongated medical devices.
• Biomolecule immobilization coatings for diagnostic (genomic, proteomic, immunoassay) surfaces on microparticles, microwell plates, strips, slides, and biosensors (electrode and microchannels).
• Reactive microparticle preparation, including nanofibers for biomolecule immobilization and cell culture.
• Antimicrobial and analgesic coatings for implantable orthopedic devices.

Biocompatibility testing results are good and manufacturing capabilities are increasing to meet commercial demands.
